Each year the District
of Wells assists non-profit organizations in the Wells Area in two ways:
i) by providing Grants In Aid which may be used for operational costs or
specific projects, and
ii) by granting a tax exemption on certain lands and improvements owned
or leased by qualifying organizations.
The Grants In Aid are given yearly when the final District of Wells budget process has been completed, hopefully early in the New Year.
